Loving the new 5SOS
Will We Talk? - Sam Fender
"Blue Monday Blarin' loudly out the speakers...."
Katy Perry's Dark Horse, with Juicy J
Original Me - YUNGBLUD & Dan Reynolds
I think this might be the first time I've heard any of his songs. I like it.
Wow, so much energy both in the song and dancing. Their voices go well together and it must feel amazing for them to let their vocals go full power! Its so different and absolutely great!!
Did you hear and I am sure you did he got death threats in Russia for wearing a dress on stage...seriously uncool!
This song is grabbing my attention at the moment. I don't know if others will like it but I just love it.
Arctic Monkeys ~ She Looks Like Fun
Yeah, I'm assuming he did it to stick 2 fingers up at them.
Here's a cracking performance from them.
That sounds better than what I'm used to with AM. I don't know what it is, but I always struggle to appreciate their music.
I am glad to hear that he did it on purpose.
That is fantastic. I love the duo with Dan. They sound amazing together. I need to start listening to more of YUNBLUD. I do love his sound.
Every so often I go back to them and really try to like them. But it never works out. I don't know why I keep trying.
The song I posted is the only one I like by them. It sounds like v2 schneider and then it seems to sound like a pop song all in one.
Oooh I'm going to plug this one for you. It's about lads taking advantage of girls while they are out partying, the whole video gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I watch it. It also freaks me out knowing that my daughter goes out with her university mates while she's at uni. I know she's not daft and I know her friends will be there for her, but still, it's such a common thing to happen.
I think this is why I liked it better than their other stuff. It's funny because I have tried a few times to get into their music.
Loved it! It's such a socially conscious song. Love hearing his voice with that English accent showing thru. I have heard of him but never really took the time to listen but now I will! I do know one thing.....your daughter will always be your little girl no matter what age she is and that you will worry your whole life and that is a good thing in my book it makes you a good Dad!
Why do we keep trying? I can't for the life of me figure that out.
I am fascinated with Bowie's time in Berlin which brought us the Berlin Trilogy's. The albums Low, Heroes and Lodger.
One of my favorite songs from this time in his life is this one about his cocaine addiction after he got clean.
Beauty and the Beast
This could be moved to his appreciation thread
I am really impressed with Yungblood....love this song. He seems socially conscious and aware for his age!
YUNGBLUD, Halsey - 11 Minutes ft. Travis Barker
Have you listened to his album? Are you on Spotify?
No not on Spotify. I probably should jump on board with Spotify. I still buy CD's
It took me a long time to accept Spotify. Then again, it took me a long time to accept iTunes and digital media.
I no longer bother with CDs, though I do have the ones from The Killers. Everything else I bought as a digital download off iTunes.
Then I gave Spotify a chance with their '3 months free' offer and before I reached the end of that 3 months I decided to go with it on a family pack. Even though it's a monthly cost, I'm saving so much more by not buying any downloads, I've literally bought four albums this year. Two from YUNBLUD, one from Madonna and one from Alex Cameron.
I can no longer imagine life without Spotify, it's so much easier than when I was transferring my downloads fro my compute to my iPhone.
I haven't quite gotten there yet.
I know but I love my CD's! I spent a fortune after our move on CD's. They were somehow lost in the move. We had things in storage at my Mother in law's and she was always asking if she could give this person this or that. She gave away my electric guitar and I have a feeling my CD's didn't walk away on there own.
I have to have everything Bowie on CD and vinyl even though I lost my turn table too.
I really do need to try and it and see if I like it.
I don't have that type of cellphone...mine is a pay as you go so would Spotify still be worth it for me?
Oh, I know that place alright
If you can't get the Internet on your phone then I don't believe Spotify would work. It's probably best you ask the phone shop where you buy your top-ups.
As for my favourite song right now - anything off Sam Fender's album, but I will stick with this one because the message and video are really strong.
