Winter is my least favourite season, yet it has some of the most gorgeous settings (looking from inside a warm place)

What are some of your favourite winter images?

This one is a bit blurred, my photography skills are poor (and I can't work out how to make the photo smaller)

I use irfanview, it's free and very basic compared to photoshop, but it's ideal for not too complicated corrections and enhancements.

It's Disney. They can make it rain jelly beans if they put their minds to it.

I know it snowed a bit in northern Florida this week, but I don't think it got as far south as Orlando. We're simply not equipped for such oddities... We're still selling T-shirts to commemorate last year's severe winter weather.

Actually this is infrared photography (which is often very beautiful) and not snow at all.

In other words, Ome has tried to bedazzle us with manipulated snow. Do we have an official penalty for this?
    If not, use your imagination:)

I love winter pictures, one of the best tours i ever did was a heli glacing trip in new Zealand and you land on top of a glacier

it was a picure postcard sunny day and the colours with the light and sun reflecting on the ice were amazing! I may need to dig out my pics and post.
i have had these on my computer / memory stick at work for a long time

That's not a scenery I would expect to find in New Zealand.

My hometown of Savannah, GA got a respectable four inches of snow this week...more than I think they've gotten since 1989 (which I remember well). The local newspaper got some charming submissions from readers.
