I've got this on a compilation album. I love it.
I heard it in a movie, didn't know who it was. I thought it could be Andy Kim.
When I looked it up on YouTube ("movie brought me here!") I recognized a title in one of the Rodriguez thumbnail suggestions.
It was Sugar Man, which was nominated in the movies Top 10.
It's a lovely film too.
I didn't even know it was a movie, I thought I was going to watch a documentary (the real Portugueses)
Oh, that's very spellbinding! After my 4th watch I felt a bit hoodoo-voodoo'd. It has the same effect (on me) as House Of The Rising Sun.
I can imagine being on holiday somewhere and that being slipped into the chillout-y DJ set in the background of some bar. Nodding away as it plays thinking I know what that is... What is that?
Which part is Coronation Street, the A-side or the B-side?
All of it, it just gets dubbier and dubbier as it goes on.
Whether you like it or not, you have to know what happens next.
It reminds me of the indulgent rock songs from the seventies, like The Wild Places.
And since I don't want to disrupt the sultry atmosphere
That's one of the most beautiful country/folk songs I've ever heard. I'm sure it's very obscure and very hard to find.
Yes, it's from a compilation album full of very obscure country songs: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2...eview-beautiful-country-rock-from-the-fringes
Amazon has it, and now it's going to be mine!
I realy love this new song from Reba's new album.
