    Paging @Emelee and @Angela Channing.

We've now covered all the song suggestions the two of you made for the Standards thread. And some great rounds we've had out of it, too. If you think of any more songs you'd like to suggest just pop them in this thread. But if you're happy to just continue with songs suggested by others that's great too. :hat:

    Wonderful choices, thanks @Emelee.

I've moved your suggestions over to this thread to make sure I don't lose track of them and will add these titles to our list of future songs. There are a few here I'm really looking forward to!

A belated reply, Lashes, but thanks so much for those suggestions which I've added to our list of song choices.

It's always fun and sometimes surprising to see how many covers some of these songs have especially a (relatively) "newer" song like Video Killed The Radio Star.

Sorry, I never got around to responding. Here are 5 songs you may (or may not) want to consider featuring at some point in the future.

    1. We Can Work It Out (First a hit by The Beatles in 1965)
    2. (Theme From) New York New York (Best known for the 1980 cover by Frank Sinatra)
    3. Turn! Turn! Turn! (Best known version recorded by The Byrds in 1965)
    4. Mrs Robinson (First recorded by Simon & Garfunkel in 1968)
    5. Hallelujah (Written by and First recorded by Leonard Cohen in 1984)

    Many thanks, @Angela Channing.

Hallelujah was actually our second ever Standard, back on the old site (in case you're wondering, k.d. lang came in first place, with Mr. Cohen in second), but I've added the others to our forthcoming songs.
